Step 1: Fill Out And Submit This Form Note: If your browser is not 'forms-capable' -- or if you have consistent trouble submitting the form -- you may Email the information for the form to the Ringmaster and he'll place your site in the queue for you (please be sure to include all the information). However, it may take 48 hours or more for your site to be added to the queue this way (you will receive an Email confirmation when it is added). All other steps are exactly the same.
Step 2: Add HTML Code to Your Page* Within minutes you should receive an Email confirmation of your submission. This Email will contain HTML code customized for your page (based on the information you provided in the form above). Simply cut and paste the HTML code to your page. *NOTE: If you're unsure about whether your site fits the focus of this ring you might consider sending an Email to the Ringmaster asking him to examine the site before you add the HTML to your page
Step 3: At that point, the Maine Restaurant and Lodging Web Ring controls should appear on your page. Clicking any of the Maine Restaurant and Lodging links (except the one linked to the ring's home page ) should now load a page saying your site is not yet in the ring. Once you make it this far, you're almost there -- just one more step!
Step 4: Email the Ringmaster once the code is on your page, Email the Ringmaster with your site ID (contained in the confirmation Email you received) and the URL of your site. The Ringmaster will then verify that the links are on your page and that your site is appropriate for the Maine Restaurant and Lodging Web Ring. Assuming all is well the Ringmaster will insert your site into the ring and send you an Email informing you that you're now a member of the Maine Restaurant and Lodging ring (this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of days depending on how many other people are trying to join the ring and how busy the Ringmaster is).
Please Note the following:
We do not accept “adult” sites or those inappropriate for the general public. Sites using frames cannot be added to the ring - frames will break the ring and not allow smooth surfing to the other sites in the ring. If the nature of the content of your site is changed after inclusion in the ring, such that it is no longer appropriate for all audiences, your position in the ring will be terminated.
The form below will allow members to edit their site information (URL, site title, password, etc.) in case they move or the information is incorrect.
